jaws disappearring when skype shuts off

Does anyone have a solution to jaws disappearring when skype shuts off? this is happening with both XP and win 7. also, there are jaws scripts on both systems.

Hi,
I think use gw skype. You can download it from the website of gw micro. Gw skype is an alternative to the normal skype client, and it is made for the blind. Avira may detect it as a virus, but it is not a virus. So please disable avira before launching gw skype.

could you please send over a link to the latest skype scripts?

And secondly, anyone else having a problem where Skype does not minimize to the system tray; it just stays open as a window?

i've never heard of jaws vanishing when skype closes, been using it actively on all windows versions and had nothing like that happen. As for making skype vanish, look on the advanced tab of options, there should be a keep skype in taskbar when signed in checkbox, uncheck it and you should be good to go.
